100% cotton double lined gauze. Depending on personal preference, some may find the material slightly sheer. If desired, a slip can be worn underneath for added coverage.

After washing, this garment will take on a beautiful cheesecloth effect. We recommend a gentle, cold water hand wash using natural detergents, and hang drying in the shade. Handcrafted garments are delicate, however, designed to last when treated mindfully with love and care.

Our block colour fabrics are dyed by hand in small batches, allowing each piece to be coloured slowly and evenly. Fabrics are piece-dyed using azo-free dyes, with the process adjusted to suit each shade.

Deeper colours may move through multiple dye baths to build depth and consistency, while lighter tones are dyed with carefully controlled concentrations and close attention to maintain softness and uniform colour. Our white fabrics are left undyed.

Each fabric is then thoroughly washed and softened, allowing the colour to settle naturally while preserving the fabric’s lightness, movement, and feel against the skin.

"I love white dresses. That's why I ordered this model in white, because I really liked the dress in the DOI photos. I received the dress after a few days - super fast shipping!!! I also thought the tracking was great - I was always notified of where my package was. Yesterday, I picked up the package at the post office. The fabric is very nice and the cut is exactly as pictured. I knew it would be a little transparent. But it's not white. It's more of an ecru or eggshell color. I think that's sad, because this beige-white color doesn't suit me at all. And I think it always looks a little unwashed. Very unfortunate. But thanks for the great service!Warm regardsChristine"
